InfraRecorder is an example of software designed for writing information to file systems of optical discs. InfraRecorder first appeared in 2006 as a result of the author Christian'sKindahl participation in «Google Summer of Code 2006" (since then it is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPLv3 license). The program is designed for CD and DVD, the latest version - 0.53 (released in early Fall 2012). Download InfraRecorder version 0.53 for free directly from our website.

InfraRecorder Program isn't actually an application developed "from scratch" for Microsoft Windows (64-bit version is also available), as it only masks most of cdrtools functionality.
Features:

  • distributed with the installer as well as in the archive;
  • 64 -bit version for Windows is available;
  • InfraRecorder Express module is available with analogous Nero Express quick access toolbar for job entries;
  • simple and intuitive interface.
  • Disadvantages:
  • No support for burning Blu-ray and HD DVD;
  • No support for FLAC format.
