Moshquito is an arcade game for Android based on a simple yet surprisingly addictive concept: swatting mosquitoes. The game offers casual gameplay with bright cartoon-style graphics and intuitive touch controls, where the player must tap on the insects appearing on the screen, preventing them from flying away or biting the character. The game does not require an internet connection and takes up minimal space on your device.
Gameplay
The essence of the gameplay is that mosquitoes of various sizes and speeds appear on the screen in a chaotic order. The task is to tap each one before it disappears off the screen. With each new level, the number of insects increases and their behaviour becomes less predictable: they start moving in zigzags, changing direction abruptly and even freezing for a moment before darting off suddenly. There are also special mosquitoes; tapping on them gives you bonus points or extra time. Misses and missed insects reduce your health bar, and when it runs out, the game ends.

Visuals and sound
Moshquito’s graphics are rendered in a cartoonish style with bright, rich colours. The mosquitoes are drawn with humorous exaggeration — large eyes, disproportionate wings — which gives the game a light-hearted and relaxed feel. The background images change depending on the level: a room with a lamp on, an evening terrace, a marshy landscape. The soundtrack is built around a distinctive buzzing sound and short melodic accents when you land a successful hit, creating pleasant feedback during gameplay.
Moshquito doesn’t claim to have depth or narrative sophistication — it’s an honest casual arcade game that does exactly what it promises, and does so with a certain charm, although the noticeable lack of variety in the mechanics prevents it from holding your attention for too long.
